At the right time, in front of the full winter tourism season, on November 18 - 20, 2010, the Second Tourism and Rural Tourism Fair, was held at Šumadija Fair in Kragujevac, under participation of more than 60 exhibitors from Serbia and the Region. In order to feature their tourism potentials, in addition to Serbia and Vojvodina, the participants at the Fair were also the Tourist Organizations of Niš, Leskovac, Ljubovija, Gornji Milanovac, Aranđelovac, Topola, Pirot, Smederevo, Loznica, Kruševac, Aleksinac, Kragujevac, Zlatibor, Bor, Paraćin and other towns and Municipalities in Serbia, as well as the exhibitors from Foča, Ohrid and other parts of Macedonia, Budva, Ulcinj, Banja Luka (during the Fair, the Protocol of Cooperation between Kragujevac and Banja Luka was signed) and other region sections.

The dominant section of the Fair was the offer of Rural, River and Hunting Tourism. Many village households showed their capacities and offered their products. Thus, also Dr. Goran Petković, State Secretary of Tourism in the Ministry of Economics and Regional Development of the Republic of Serbia said during the Fair opening that
the "Ministry financed in the last three years 30 projects for the Rural Tourism development and that branch should make a serious growth in the future".

Ms. Snežana Milisavljević, CEO of the City Tourist Organization 'Kragujevac', pointed out that "in the following period, more attention will be paid to the Rural Tourism offer, since the surrounding of Kragujevac has got even 56 villages, which may deal with tourism". The village households offered the Fair visitors their products and handicrafts, as well as an attractive accommodation, in which the full board, based upon healthy food, costs RSD.1,600 -2,000.

There were also considerable expert and consulting participations of the Ministry of Economics and Regional Development ('Convenient Credits as the Support to the Catering Offer Quality' and 'The New Rules of the Catering Facility Categorizing'), Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Serbia (the topic: 'Support to the Rural Tourism Development in Serbia'), as well as the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (the Conference of the Rural Tourism Board was held) and Kragujevac Chamber of Commerce (the topic: The Worldwide Trends in the Šumadija's Tourism'). Especially interesting was the presentation of the incoming tourist offer of the YUTA Chapter with the arrangements for Winter 2010/2011, New Year's Eve, Christmas and Eastern Holidays. The YUTA gathered Bačka, Sremska, Bantska and Belgrade Regions, as well as those of the West, Southwest, Southeast, East, Central and South Serbia.

On the last event day, under participation of also the guests from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Slovenia, a new event took place, the First Šumadija Tea Party - a competition in the boiled brandy preparation. The Tea Party was followed also by fish soup and hunting goulash cooking.
13 prizes were awarded, among which also a summer holiday in Greece.
