At the eastern part of the Kopaonik massif, on two rivers, the Rasina and the Graševka, in a part of the fertile Župa vineyards, there rests Brus, a tourist place equally actual in summer and winter. It is the center of the community under the same name, situated at 429 meters above sea level. This air spa was visited in 1909 by the Serbian Regent Aleksandar Karađorđević, Bulgarian King Ferdinand and the Montenegro's Duke Janko Vukotić and they made an agreement on the Balkan Union there.
In the late 1980's, the Brus community provided a new tourist destination - Brzeće. This village, 270 kilometers away from Belgrade and 100 from Nis, soon became the Serbian potential St. Moritz. Situated at 1000 meters above sea level, this place, surrounded by the tops Jastrebac (1313 meters), Kamarište (1400 meters), Vojetin (1561 meters) and Bećirevac (1787 meters), the source of the river Toplica, the monasteries the Small and Large Metođe, brook mills, paths, clearings and meadows for walking in summer and recreational skiing and sleigh riding in winter, Brzeće becomes a real tourist destination. The cable railways 'The White River 1 and 2' connect this center with the top of Kopaonik, from which the skiers include themselves into the further ski line system of this largest ski center of ours.

During the winter season, there is a mini bus from Brzeće every 60 minutes, driving the skiers to the top of Kopaonik.
